Yesterday I quickly released iwebkit version 4.6.2 fixing a huge javascript error on my part leading to problems withthe popup. Indeed when a page was used with a size over the window size of the iPod the black cover would not show and the popup would be cut of in fullscreen.
Instead of getting the document height the javascript got the window height.
The themepack also received a minor update adding a missing image for the list view. It does not change according to the theme so if you didn’t delete it you are fine.
Also iforum has been posted in the download section for those still wanting to give it a try.
Excellent
I have something to report… When you use the popup feature from the iphone.. the first time it works perfect.. However, if you click a link to make the popup show.. and then click cancel on the popup.. the link is no longer active..
Other than that, the kit works very nicely… keep up the good work!

Is it possible to make a real iphone app with iwebkit?
so you dont have to download all the stuff inside (pictures, text)
from the web again and again.
I only need the internet connection when i send the form inside my iphone website.
Is it possible? Can i simply make this with iphone sdk without any knowledge
thanks for our help
Michael
i heard about something called phonegap or another thing called nimblekit
i think you they can be used to convert html into obj-c code for the iphone. Try to google it and please next time look on the forum
I am so confused! What program do I use to make my website??? I downloaded iwebkit and I have no idea what to do! I am a noob.
I’m also having a problem with the close function on the popup. I’m trying to different ways to figure out how to make it work but I haven’t been successful yet. If you patch that or can tell us a way to fix that, that would be great. I’d love to use that feature until then I’ll keep plugging away. I’m still learning the architecture of the kit I literally just downloaded it.
Hello again,
i would like to integrat a photo album like jaipho
but nicer, i also have trouble to generate jaipho for the iwebkit.
Can anybody help me or do you plan to integrat something like that
in the next version of iwebkit?
Would be very nice!!
Thanks for your help
@Ajay:
You can generate all the html-files with for example dreamweaver or another html-editor.
Its very easy.
I too am having the issue when attempting to click on a popup link after it has been closed it will not work. Has that been worked out or is it being looked into?
I noticed that form checkbox on/off disappear after a Post back event. I am testing with 4.6.2. Can you please point out a fix for this issue?
Thanks
Please report it in the community under bugs http://community.iwebkit.net
Thanks
I, like several others am having problems with the popup code. Both popup 1 and popup 2 work fine first time, but if you click cancel neither then function correctly after that. Look forward to any fix that could be offered. On a plus point its an excellent kit and a perfect way to get started building iphone web apps!
nice work guys.. i really liked it.. keep it up good work..
waiting for some more features in coming release
